    OPERATIONS MANAGER / DRAFTING

    Toby began his woodworking apprenticeship in 1994, quickly finding a passion for luthiery work. For 12 years he designed and fabricated stringed instruments and components, eventually teaching others his craft at The American School of Luthiery. In 2008 he found a natural fit for his skills and creativity in the construction industry as a cabinet maker and woodworker.

  • JEREMY SMITH

    WOODWORKER / LEAD-INSTALLER

    Jermey’s resume, boasting 30 years of custom and fine woodworking experience, is increasingly rare in our industry. His main areas of focus are cabinets, furniture, and installation of architectural work. In addition to woodworking, Jeremy has a background in art, with a MFA in sculpture and printmaking. He maintains an artistic studio practice as well.

    SHOP FOREMAN

    With over 20 years of woodworking experience, most of Garrison’s craftsmanship is largely and impressively self-taught, having taken a deft interest in finishes over the last several years. His passion for design and fabrication extends beyond the Nox wood shop where he enjoys building scale models, 3D printing, engineering, and motorcycles.

  • VLAD PLITSYN

    WOODWORKER / CABINET MAKER

    Vlad brings nine years of woodworking and cabinet building experience to our team. His main focus has been custom cabinetry and furniture pieces where he lends his expertise and creativity as a fabricator, as well as an installer.

  • EMILY GANSBERG

    CNC OPERATOR

    Emily joined Nox in 2022 with exceptional skill and a deep passion for woodworking. She’s the main CNC operator at the shop and also spends time on various job sites absorbing the ins-and-outs of quality cabinetry and woodworking. In her spare time she works in her home shop on a small farm. As a young woman learning a new trade, her goal is to foster an environment where everyone can be excited and feel comfortable trying something new, while sharing what she’s learned along the way.
